I have designed many pieces (web & print) for a quilt pattern company called Reproduction Quilts. You can view the website at www.reproductionquilts.com. I have also designed various product packaging pieces, business cards, linecards, and more for Reproduction Quilts.
Their website is easy to use, and still conveys the historical nature of the products in the contemporary setting in which they sell. It is also easy to update with a seasonal message from the owner that is changed out frequently to allow visitors new information each time they visit the site. This encourages those visitors to come back for more. The fixed size of the information and the "fluid" placement of the information allows maximum readability on a variety of monitors.
A hobby of mine over the past few years has been "vectorizing" photos. As you can see from my sample here, that means illustrating them. I feel that I do the best with portraits. Depending on the original this may take anywhere from an hour to many days.
Shown here are illustrations of the Lions at the Cincinnati Zoo, a friend, and my wife. You can see these and the photos they are based on on my flickr page.

I have been a graphic designer for various companies and print shops for the past 10 years, and have expanded my services to include web design as well.
